Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) has 5 stages of kidney damage with little or no symptoms. Get tested asap to determine your level of kidney damage. More options are available to you to slow the progression of kidney disease if caught early enough.
This is stage 5 of CKD which is called End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) that requires dialysis at an in-center dialysis facility, dialysis at home, or a kidney transplant to keep you alive. You must choose one of these options or "palliative care" which is the option not to sustain life any further.
Someone else's kidney is surgically implanted in you whereby the donor is either living or deceased. But you as a recipient will be gifted with this "gold standard" of kidney replacement that can return your life to better conditions. But you have to get on a transplant waiting list. And you must get educated as to the important requirements you will be facing.
